The European Bread Museum tells the more than 8,000 year old story of growing and processing grains and making bread. There are also many models of wind and water mills as they used to be used to make flour.
The European Bread Museum in Ebergötzen is a specialized museum and houses the cultural-historical collection “From grain to bread” from the more than 8000 years old history and development of agriculture, grain processing and bread. From the first farmers, the ceramists from around 5,500 B.C. (using the clay dome oven), through the Bronze and Iron Ages, the Middle Ages and finally the modern era, exhibits have been collected.
