The largest natural lake in Niedersachsen

Comfort Camping Seeburger See is located in the idyllic village of Seeburg in beautiful Eichsfeld. The campsite is located a few meters from the Seeburger See. A beautiful lake where you can enjoy swimming, rowing or fishing. Numerous walking and cycling routes start directly from the campsite.

The Seeburger See is also known as “the eye of Eichsfeld”. The river Aue, a tributary of the Suhle, flows through the lake.

ith a water surface of 86.5 hectares, the Seeburger See is the largest natural lake in Niedersachsen. The lake is around 2500 years old and was created by a subsidence.

The Seeburger See is also a popular place for holidays or excursions for the locals!
